Who is skincare fiend?

skincare fiend is the result of a 25+ year (healthy) obsession with skincare, from the fiend herself, Heidi Schroeder.  Some of us met Heidi when she employed at a spa in northwest Portland, OR.  Being a total fiend, Heidi decided to light out for the territory ahead, on her own, founding bare on belmont, in the up and coming Belmont district in southeast Portland, offering the best, bespoke facial and various other skin treatments in town.  Somewhere along the way, she started curating her own selection of skincare products, as well as creating some of her own, which now live on this website.  The skincare fiend's other website is bareonbelmont.com, where she offers in-person treatments out of her Belmont studio.

Order Process & Shipping - How long do I need to wait for my skincare?

Generally, we try to process orders within 1 business day, aside from exceptions like Holidays or atmospheric rivers that knock out the power (rare, but not inconceivable).  Some products ship directly from our trusted vendors.  Unless you live on Howland Island (where just recently they believe they've found Amerlia Earhart's plane) you should receive your order within a week or less.

Do you accept returns?

Since the products we sell get put on your face (or arms, legs, etc.), we want to ensure safety and purity.  For that reason, we cannot accept returns.  We never want to resell something that has been in someone's moldy basement, or licked by their St. Bernard.  How do we know you don't have a St. Bernard.  However, your satisfaction, aside from your skin, is our #1 priority.  If you ever have a problem, reach out to us at hello@skincarefiend.com, and we'll do our best to help.
